Zander Neuville’s football career ends

Wisconsin Badger tight end Zander Neuville announced on Twitter Wednesday his college football career is over.

Neuville said he suffered another injury and that’s forcing him to leave football.

Neuville, who was a walk-on from Waupaca, had two knee injuries in his first five years at Wisconsin.

He was granted a sixth year of eligibility in August, but was injured again and has decided to walk away from football.

Neuville says his next step is to begin medical school.

He caught 10 passes for 84 yards and 2 touchdowns in his Wisconsin Badger football career.
