WPS Health Solutions employees take part in remembrance walk ahead of Memorial Day
MONONA, Wis. — Employees from WPS Health Solutions in Monona and their families took part in A Walk to Remember on Friday to honor U.S. military personnel and veterans who have died.
During Friday’s event, participants could also sign a banner with the names of those they wish to remember.
It was “a great network of people to show up and chit chat and remember the fallen,” Timothy La Sage, the company’s military and veterans inclusion lead said. “We had some Gold Star families here — those family members that lost a son or daughter in a war or on deployment — and some of them showed up here today and it was just great to pay honor to them as well.”
Last week, employees placed 1,000 flags on the company’s campus ahead of Memorial Day.
