Work on underground utilities will close Drake Street
Crews working on underground utilities will be closing a portion of Drake Street in Madison Thursday and Friday, according to a release.
The 900 block of Drake Street west of South Park Street will be closed starting at 7 a.m. Thursday, officials said. The closure is expected to continue through the day on Friday.
Access to all properties on Drake Street to the west toward South Brooks Street will be maintained at all times, according to the release.
On-street parking will not be allowed during the closure, but pedestrians will be able to use the sidewalk on the south side of the street.
