A 44-year-old Madison woman says a man pointed a gun at her following a road rage incident Monday night, according to a release from Madison police.

The woman told police that the incident started in the 5400 block of Buckeye Road when another driver cut her off. He said she pulled into his driveway, parked and got out to question him about his driving etiquette. She said he pulled a gun from a holster, pointed it at her and threatened to kill her.

Jay C. Otis, 51, of Madison, told police that the woman had cut him off and that he welcomed police involvement. He said he didn’t draw his gun, but pointed a finger at her while warning her to get off his property.

Otis was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct while armed.
