Woman suffers chipped teeth, fat lip in road rage incident

MADISON, Wis. — A Madison woman suffered chipped teeth and a fat lip when she was struck by a juice bottle during a road rage incident on East Washington Avenue on Tuesday evening, according to an incident report.

Police said the victim, who was a passenger in a car, decided to flip off a motorist who had been tailgating the car she was riding in. The motorist then drove up next to the car and threw the bottle.

The woman sought treatment at a hospital, police said.

According to the report, the other driver is described as a black male in his 30s to 40s with a dark complexion and short hair. Officials said he was driving a baby blue car, possibly a 2010-2013 Toyota Corolla.
