Woman injured during fight in music venue, police say
MADISON, Wis. — A Janesville woman was injured Thursday night during a fight in the Majestic Theatre, Madison police said.
According to a release, the 38-year-old woman was involved in a disturbance around 10:20 p.m. in the music venue at 115 King St. with other people who were attending a concert.
Police said a verbal fight escalated into a physical fight, and the 38-year-old was punched in the face twice, choked and pushed to the floor by a man.
According to the release, the man fled before police arrived.
