Woman in Friday Silver Alert found dead

A Baraboo woman who authorities had issued an endangered and missing alert for Friday was found dead Friday afternoon, police said.
Authorities said 61-year-old Anne Rakos had last been seen Wednesday when officials issued a Silver Alert at 11:22 a.m. Friday.
The Baraboo Police Department said a citizen reported finding a body near Ferry Bluff in Prairie du Sac at about 3:30 p.m. Friday.
Police said in a release Saturday that investigators confirmed it was Rakos’s body. The details of her death are still under investigation. The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office and Baraboo police are investigating, however, police said Saturday the death was not listed as suspicious.

The Silver Alert was canceled Friday just before 6 p.m. In the original alert, officials said Rakos was a missing at-risk adult. She was known to enjoy county and state parks and a description of her vehicle was included.
