Woman arrested in Janesville hit-and-run, victim severely injured

JANESVILLE, Wis. — Janesville police arrested a woman Thursday after an investigation into a Sep. 10 hit-and-run that resulted in the hospitalization of a bicyclist.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Kellogg Avenue and S Grant Avenue in Janesville, with only minor injuries to the victim initially reported. However, the biker was transported to UW-Madison Hospital with “significant internal injuries,” according to a report from the Janesville Police Department.
Vicki Loveless, 61, confessed to the crime and is currently being held on felony traffic charges.
