Woman arrested after allegedly threatening people with handgun

MIDDLETON, Wis. — Middleton police arrested a Milwaukee woman on gun charges Sunday evening after getting multiple reports she threatened people during a fight near downtown Middleton.
Police said they received multiple calls shortly before 7 p.m. reporting a disturbance involving 13 people in the 7500 block of Rohlich Ct. Callers reported seeing a woman armed with a handgun, vehicles driving at high speeds and active fighting between people armed with baseball bats and golf clubs.
When officers arrived, the fight was ongoing, but no one had been injured.
Witnesses in the area told officers a woman had previously pointed a handgun at multiple people while making threatening statements. Police obtained and executed a search warrant for a nearby apartment unit. During the search, officers found a gun matching the description of the gun the woman reportedly threatened others with.
Sheronda D. Lash, 44, was subsequently arrested for recklessly endangering safety and felon in possession of a firearm, both of which are felonies. Lash was taken to the Dane County Jail.
Middleton police said they received help from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office and the Madison Police Department.
