Wisconsin’s Rudolph interviews with Temple
Owls court UW offensive coordinator
Madison — Wisconsin could be in the market for a new offensive coordinator. Associate head coach/offensive coordinator Joe Rudolph has interviewed for the head coaching position at Temple, according to The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman.
Rudolph (Wisconsin, ’95) just finished his fourth season as the Badgers’ offensive coordinator under head coach Paul Chryst. He was also Chryst’s offensive coordinator at Pitt from 2012-’14. Rudolph previously served on Wisconsin’s staff as the tight ends coach from 2008-’11. This would be his first collegiate head coaching job.
The Badgers are 42-12 under Chryst and Rudolph.
Former Miami defensive coordinator Manny Diaz accepted the Temple job a month ago, but he turned it down to be the Hurricanes head coach when Mark Richt retired.
