Wisconsinites rejoice! Beer & Cheese Fest returns to Madison
When you think of Wisconsin, beer and cheese are surely two of the things to come to mind.
MADISON, Wis. — When you think of Wisconsin, beer and cheese are surely two of the things to come to mind.
Both were celebrated Saturday afternoon at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison as part Beer & Cheese Fest ’23.
Brewers and cheesemakers from across the state put their best creations to the test among hundreds of attendees.
A variety of ticket options were available to purchase for admission. For $65, attendees received a tasting glass and unlimited beer and cheese samples. For those who wanted to spend a little more, a V.I.D. ticket option was available for $95. That stands for Very Important Drinker, with early access to the event and other exclusive perks for the extra cost.
More than 100 breweries were represented and each brought between four and six beers each, making for plenty of choices among festival-goers.
Saturday marked the 13th time the festival has been held, which was only open to those 21 and older.
