Wisconsin football: No time to relax during bye week
Badgers host Michigan Sept. 21st
Madison — The #14 Wisconsin football team returns to action a week from Saturday when they host #10 Michigan. Despite the early bye, the Badgers aren’t planning on treating it like a week off. Junior running back has eight touchdowns in the first two games, but he said he wants to help keep the team performing at a high level.
“We’re going to have to make sure that we stay focused in this bye week,” Taylor said. “We want to make sure that we keep guys focused and understand that once we take the field again we gotta make sure we’re still on, how we have been the past two games.”
Wisconsin’s defense hasn’t allowed a point this season, and they lead the nation in total defensive efficiency.
“Knowing that we got Michigan coming up, we gotta take advantage of every opportunity we get,” linebacker Zack Baun said. “All the practices we have during the bye week, we can’t just take them for granted. We gotta keep getting better.”
Wisconsin versus Michigan kicks off from Camp Randall at 11 A.M. on September 21st. The game will air on Fox 47. The Badgers and Wolverines have split their last four meetings.
