Wisconsin company recalls chicken over allergy concerns

MADISON, Wis. — A Wisconsin company announced a recall of its marinated chicken Tuesday, due to not properly labeling the fact that the chicken was processed with soy, a common allergen.
Detjen’s Northern Trails announced through the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection that their Teri-Yaki Chicken brand would be recalled due to potential soy contamination. A state inspection initiated the recall.
