Wis. driver killed by his truck at Ohio rest stop

Lake Geneva man was pinned by rolling truck

RAVENNA, Ohio — Troopers in Ohio said a Wisconsin truck driver is dead after his rig started rolling at a rest stop and pinned him against another truck.

The State Highway Patrol said the incident happened Saturday afternoon at a rest area along Interstate 76.

Troopers said that 57-year-old Frank Shackelford, of Lake Geneva, Wis., got out of his truck but didn’t put on the emergency brakes.

The truck rolled forward as he was walking between the cab and the back of another truck.
