Willis Cooper

Willis Cooper, age 91, of Richland Center, died peacefully at Schmitt Woodland Hills on Wednesday, June 27, 2012. He was born in Bloom City on June 4, 1921, the son of Harry and Winnie (Ferguson) Cooper. Willis was united in marriage with Lillian Janney on July 5, 1943 in Lancaster, Wisconsin. They enjoyed dancing together and participating in church activities. Willis was a lifelong Trinity United Methodist Church member. Music was always an important part of his life, including being in quartet competitions and participating in the church choir. As an active owner of Wallace, Cooper and Elliott Insurance agency, family times were treasured when they could get away.
