Whitewater man sentenced for liquor store robbery

MADISON, Wis. — A Whitewater man will spend more than three years in prison for robbing a Jefferson liquor store.
Nicholas Wosinski, 28, was sentenced Friday to 42 months in federal prison and three years of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay $958 in restitution.
Prosecutors said Wosinski acted as the getaway driver during the armed robbery of the Pitz Stop Liquor store on Feb. 5, 2016. The robbery was committed by James Mizener, 49, of Palmyra, who also has pleaded guilty in federal court.
Mizener is scheduled to be sentenced on May 3.
