Wayne Bindl

SPRING GREEN, Wis. — Wayne H. “Buzzy” Bindl, age 82, of Spring Green, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday, December 11, 2022. He was born on May 23, 1940, in Richland Center, WI, the son of Michael and Helen (Meise) Bindl. Buzzy was married on June 26, 1965, to the former Geraldine Ederer. He was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church and farmed all of his life. He enjoyed playing cards, all sports but especially baseball and the Chicago Cubs.

Survivors include his five children, Renae (Mike) Quale of Middleton, Roger Bindl of Spring Green, Rodney (Ruth) Bindl of Middleton, Reggie (Ana Michelsen) Bindl of Bettendorf, Iowa, Rita (Justin) Tafs of Spring Green; eight grandchildren, Krysta (Mike) Newsome, Michael Quale, Hunter and Ashley Bindl, Oliver and Lucia Bindl Michelsen, Angus and Veda Tafs; a special friend, Mary Schubert; four siblings, Sandy (Ron), Connie, Gary, Linda; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine “Gerri” Bindl, parents, Michael and Helen Bindl.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Plain. Fr. Garrett Kau will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.
