Watt out ’til November, Herring has surgery
Badger fullback suffered foot injury vs. LSU

MADISON — Badgers starting fullback Derek Watt suffered a foot injury in Wisconsin’s 28-24 loss to LSU in Houston Saturday and will be out until the first week in November.
Austin Ramesh, a redshirt freshman from Northland Pines High School is the Badgers backup fullback.
Defensive lineman Warren Herring was also injured against LSU and had surgery on his right knee Wednesday and will be out four to six weeks.
Defensive end Konrad Zagzebski was limited in practice the last two days but is expected to play Saturday against Western Illinois.
Zagzebski was carted off the field Saturday after suffering a blow to the head and neck, but has cleared medical tests and should play in the Badgers’ home opener.
