Wanda J. Wasserman

MIDDLETON-Wanda J. Wasserman, age 70, of Middleton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 9, 2017, at UW Hospital, surrounded by love.

She was born on November 24, 1946, the daughter of Wallace and June (Freiberger) Wasserman. Wanda grew up in Shawano and graduated from Shawano High School and UW – Madison. She had several jobs in printing, including for the State of Wisconsin. Wanda took care of family members (father, sister) in times of need. She was a lifelong member of the Christian Science Church. Wanda loved art, music, nature and current events.

She is survived by her sister, Diane Wasserman; brother, Wayne (Martha Girard) Wasserman; uncle and aunt, Ken and Claire Wasserman; nephews and nieces, Robert, Charly and Audrey Renk. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017, with Marian Sorensen presiding. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.

Memorials may be made to First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Madison or Overture Center for the Arts.
