Walker invites Chinese Harley riders to Milwaukee

Gov. Scott Walker wants Chinese Harley-Davidson riders to come to Milwaukee this summer to celebrate the company’s 110th anniversary.
Walker attended the opening of a new Harley-Davidson dealership in Tianjin, China, on Tuesday as part of his 10-day trade mission to the country.
Walker says in a press release that the new dealership in Tianjin “is a great opportunity for Harley-Davidson as more and more people are attracted to the leisure motorcycling lifestyle.”
Walker also announced that his semi-private economic development agency signed an agreement with China GreenTech Initiative to serve as an adviser on clean water and water technology.
Walker’s office says the agreement allows the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. to work in collaboration with China’s business and commercial leaders to help solve environmental issues.
