Vicki Bailey

MCFARLAND-Vicki Bailey, age 40, of McFarland, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, surrounded by her loving family at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was born on Sept. 19, 1971, in Viroqua.

Vicki attended McFarland High School and graduated in 1989. She was currently employed (and co-owner) at Jerry’s Place Bar in Madison. Vicki enjoyed cooking and spending time with her son, family, and friends.

She is survived by her son, Ross; brother, Bruce Bailey; niece, Abbey Bailey; her mother, Loretta Bailey and her husband, Tom Bailey; and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Bailey. Funeral services will be held at MCFARLAND LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5529 Marsh Road, McFarland, at 12 Noon on Saturday, June 23, 2012, with the Rev. Timothy Dean presiding. Private burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and MICU staff at St. Mary’s Hospital, and also a special thank you to the staff at St. Mary’s Renal Care Center. We will all miss her dearly, and will remember her for her smile and great attitude as she dealt with kidney failure and dialysis.
