Verona church celebrates Easter with renovation groundbreaking
Updates move kitchen, connect church, school

VERONA, Wis. — A Verona congregation celebrated Easter by breaking ground on planned renovations to its church and preschool.
The 15-month renovation beginning Sunday will connect St. James Lutheran Church to its preschool as well as updating the kitchen and community spaces.
“We’re excited to serve this community and to serve the congregation and continue to be a welcoming presence in Verona,” said David Polet, a parishioner involved with the planning.
Hundreds of parishioners played a role in the renovation’s planning process.
