Vernon G. Chadwick

Vernon G. Chadwick, 71, of Marshall, Wis., peacefully passed away, Saturday June 3, 2017, at home surrounded by loved ones.

Vernon was born on March 24, 1946 in Watertown, Wis., to Gordon and Eleanor (Kiesow) Chadwick of Marshall, Wis. He was married to Randy Boyce of Merrill, Wis., on Oct. 30, 1971. Vernon was well known for his longtime involvement farming in Marshall. An avid outdoorsman that loved hunting, fishing, and camping with friends and family. Vernon was also known for his competitive tractor pulling.

Vernon is survived by his wife Randy; daughter, Rochelle Chadwick; brother, Wayne and his wife Cindy Chadwick; grandsons, Mathew and Anthony Nelson of Marshall; great-grandchildren, Miranda, Dominick, Alexander Nelson; and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Eleanor; a brother, Eugene; and his son, Joseph.

A celebration of life will be held at the AMERICAN LEGION POST, 279 American Legion Cir, Marshall, on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thank you to Rainbow Hospice for your support during his time of need. Vernon was loved dearly by many and will not be forgotten.
