Vehicle fire blocks lane of I-39/90/94 near Poynette

POYNETTE, Wis. — The right lane of eastbound Interstate 39/90/94 is blocked near County Highway CS in Columbia County due to a vehicle fire Wednesday night, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

A Columbia County dispatcher said the fire was reported around 10:05 p.m. The Poynette Fire Department was called to the scene. An ambulance was also paged as a precaution.

A WisDOT traffic camera showed heavy smoke in the area.
