Valerie (Zelinski) Kittel

SUN PRAIRIE-Valerie (Zelinski) Kittel, passed away after she lost her battle with a short illness on Tuesday, March 8, 2016.
She was born in Madison on July 19, 1986, the daughter of Joseph and Amy (Mader) Zelinski. Valerie enjoyed many things in her life and her heart was huge. She loved animals and children and was an adventurist with a creative spirit. Valerie had a passion for music, her bass guitar, roller coasters, fishing, fireworks, wake boarding, snowboarding, snowmobiling, motorcycle riding and sports in general. She also enjoyed cooking, especially spicy foods.
Not only will Valerie be sorely missed as a daughter, she will be missed as a sister, friend, granddaughter, niece and aunt. She will now be at peace and lovingly watching over her family.
Valerie is survived by her father, Joseph (Lisa) and mother, Amy (Doug Gehrke); brothers, Marcus and Jackson; step-sisters, Brittney (Derek) Jackson and Katarina (Jacob) Bevier; grandmother, Kay Mader; grandfather, Arthur Mueller; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and her beloved pets, Stamps and Amsterdam. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Dorothy Mueller and Richard Zelinski; maternal grandfather, George Mader; and husband, John Kittel.
A memorial gathering will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m., on Saturday, March 12, 2016. In memory of Valerie, any donations may be made to the JR’s Pups-N-Stuff Animal Rescue, 450 S. Curtis, West Allis, WI 53214.
