VACCINE DAY: Local doctors answer questions on vaccine safety and kids
MADISON, Wis. — With the CDC and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services giving the go-ahead for kids between the ages of 12 and 15 to also be eligible for the Pfizer vaccine, News 3 Now has seen dozens of parents bring their kids to be vaccinated during our free Vaccine Day clinics.
If you have questions about whether the vaccine is right for your child, we have experts standing by ready to answer your questions. Just call 608-274-4000 until 7 p.m. tonight and someone will be available.
Eric Franke also spoke with doctors from SSM Health and UW Health this afternoon, including one who is getting his kids vaccinated today.
News 3 Now’s free walk-up vaccine clinics do not require any registration or appointments — just head to our station at 7025 Raymond Road or William G. Lunney Lake Farm County Park at 4330 Libby Road until 7 p.m. to get your shot. Staff will also help you schedule the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine three weeks from now.
