UWSP rallies to stun Whitewater

Sunday at Miller Stadium, Whitewater started out hot. They scored four runs in the bottom of the first and another in the fourth to jump out to a 5-0 lead in the WIAC Tournament Championship. From there, UW-Stevens Point took over.
The Pointer scored five runs in the fifth inning to tie the game. All five runs came with two outs.
In the bottom of the fifth, Whitewater reclaimed the lead Nick Kulmann drove in a run with a double and Trey Cannon singled in another.
In the sixth, Stevens Point scored two more to tie it and ended the game on a 10-0 stretch, resulting in a 15-7 final score.
With the loss, Whitewater now hopes for an at-large berth into the NCAA tournament.
