Update: Suspect arrested in connection with north side stabbing

Madison police arrested a 19-year-old in connection with a Saturday morning stabbing on the city’s north side.

Ramsey Bartlett was taken into custody without incident.

Police said officers responded to the 3700 block of East Karstens Drive at about 9:20 a.m.

Witnesses told police a dispute broke out in an apartment and a 22-year-old Black Earth man was stabbed. A 19-year-old woman was also struck, resulting in a minor facial injury.

The man was taken to a hospital where he was admitted with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the report.
