Ultrazone offers free games of laser tag for food donations

Ultrazone is offering free games of laser tag during the week of Thanksgiving for everyone who donates nonparishable food items, according to a news release.

The west-side business has partnered with The River Food Pantry to grow the organization’s food pantry.

“We do a holiday food drive every year, and this year we decided to partner with The River. We hope that this food drive will be a great success and provide meals for families in our own community,” Ultrazone’s marketing assistant Brianna Webster said. “This is a great opportunity for Madison residents to support a great cause while having a great time.”

Before the food drive, Ultrazone employees volunteered at The River to understand the organization’s needs, according to the release.

Items that will be accepted in the food drive include boxed meals, canned fruit, cereals, noodles, soups and vegetables, among other things. Ultrazone will also be accepting deodorant, diapers, feminine products, tissues, soap and shampoo, according to the release.
