Uldene Fritz Damon

Uldene Fritz Damon, age 100, of Richland Center, died on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Pine Valley Healthcare. She was born February 14, 1912 in Richland County, the daughter of William and Bessie (Cooper) Parsons.

Uldene was a member of the Ithaca Evangelical United Brethren Church, serving as Treasurer and teaching Sunday School and Bible School. She was united in marriage with Donald Fritz , who preceded her in death March 31, 1971. Later, Uldene married Reverend Loren Damon. They were members of the Richland Center Free Methodist Church. Reverend Damon preceded her in death June 8, 1988. Uldene enjoyed her family immensely, and they appreciate her wonderful sense of humor. Quiet times for her were moments to enjoy music, reading and writing in her journal.

Survivors include her children: Donnabel (Vince) Willis of Hillpoint Robert (Rosie) Fritz of Prairie du Sac, five grandchildren: David Willis, Dan (Marjory) Willis, Tim (Kris) Willis, Jeffrey (Noel) Fritz and Julie (Ethan) Sironi 14 great grandchildren: Stephanie, Janelle and Sara Willis, Cody and Sawyer Willis, Logan and Carissa Willis, Holly Fritz, Shannon Fritz, Rachel Fritz, Laura Fritz, Kayla Fritz, Lily Sironi, and Dylan Sironi one great great grandchild: Gavin Willis several nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. Uldene was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Donald and Loren; her brother George Parsons and sister Verlie Johnson. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the PRATT MEMORIAL CHAPEL. Pastor Greg Marsh will officiate and burial will be in the Willow Valley Cemetery. Friends may call at the PRATT MEMORIAL CHAPEL on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until service time. The family suggests memorials in Uldene’s name be directed to the Pine Valley Electric Bed fund.

The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
