Two People Hurt In Town Of Albion Motorcycle Crash

Two people were injured late Tuesday night after a motorcycle rider missed a curve and crashed in the Town of Albion, according to the Dane County Sherriff’s Department.

The incident happened just after 9 p.m. on Hillside Road, near the Hickory Hills Campground, in the Town of Albion.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, Douglas Boughton, 44, of Janesville, was riding his motorcycle with a 43-year-old female passenger on southbound Hillside Road when he apparently lost control of the cycle.

Boughton was taken to Mercy Hospital in Janesville for injuries from the crash. The woman received severe, life-threatening injuries and was taken by Med Flight helicopter to University of Wisconsin Hospital.

Neither victim was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
