Two arrested in downtown bar disturbance

Two men were arrested early Saturday morning after a disturbance at a downtown bar, police said.

Police said officers were called to Red Rock Saloon around 1:30 a.m. for a disturbance that started inside the bar and then moved outside.

When police arrived, one of the men, Drew J. Hanson, 25, ran from officers. He was caught and arrested on charges of resisting, police said.

Police said while officers were arresting Hanson, the other man, Luis M. Gomez Jr., started recording the arrest. Gomez had punched somebody during the disturbance and threatened to kill them. Gomez also said during the original disturbance that he had a gun, police said.

Gomez was arrested on charges of battery and disorderly conduct and also faces charges of possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
