Tomah teen drowns at Fort McCoy park

Authorities say a Tomah teenager has drowned at a Fort McCoy park.

Fort officials said 16-year-old Andrew Plowmer was found unconscious in the water at Pine View Beach Saturday.

The La Crosse Tribune reported first responders attempted to resuscitate the boy, who was taken to a Sparta hospital where he was pronounced dead.
