After four years on the near west-side, The Heights cafe and restaurant will close to the public next week. This decision comes at a time when staffing challenges combined with pandemic restrictions have left business operations unfeasible, according to the eatery’s announcement.

The Heights had temporarily paused dinner operations due to staffing storages. For the past three months, the restaurant had only been open for weekend brunch and Friday happy hour.

The Heights first opened in 2018 and has undergone several changes in its nearly four years of business. The 11 N. Allen St. cafe plans to rework the location as an event space and grow its membership wine program, Wine Society, in the future. The Heights will be open for regular cafe service this weekend.
