Teen: Man tried to lure him to his car

A Madison teen said a suspicious man tried to encourage him to get into his car while he was walking his dog Thursday afternoon.

The teen said he was in the 4600 block of Kennedy Road when the man pulled his car up next to him and beckoned to him. He also mouthed the words “come here.”

Police said the teen ran home and his family called police.

The man is described as Hispanic, 30-35 years old with a heavier build, facial stubble and black hair coming from the edge of his gray baseball cap. He was smoking and wearing a white shirt and possibly a jean jacket. His car was blue with a loud muffler. It was missing a headlight and one hubcap didn’t match the others.
