Teen Accused Of Beating Woman With Rock-Filled Sock
A Madison teen was arrested for substantial battery Wednesday night after beating a woman with a sock filled with rocks, according to the Madison Police Department.
The teen and the woman had engaged in a verbal entanglement prior to the assault.
It took place at the intersection of West Badger Road and Park Street shortly before 11 p.m., police said.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of head injuries, police said.
The 15-year-old was went to the Juvenile Reception Center, police said.
