The temperatures may not be dropping, but community leaders in Cottage Grove are creating new ways to keep cool.
The city of Fitchburg said Friday afternoon that an equipment issue caused the park to close the water play area.
A new splash pad is expected to open next summer at Blue Mound State Park.
