Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch, facing an effort to recall her from office, disputed federal jobs figures Saturday and said she didn't expect the ongoing John Doe investigation in Milwaukee to have any impact during a potential campaign.
Organizers of the recall effort against Wisconsin's Senate majority leader say Monday they've gathered more than 12,000 signatures in a bid to wrestle control of state politics from Gov. Scott Walker and Republican lawmakers.
