Deputy: 988 warrants issued for parents not paying child support
Agency reports more than 24,000 active cases
A Dane County Sheriff's deputy tries every day to stay positive as he attempts to collect unpaid child support from the 988 individuals with outstanding court-issued warrants for being deadbeat parents.
