Sweet Corn Festival wraps up fun weekend in Sun Prairie

SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — Live music, lawn games and sweet corn were just a few of the things on offer at Sun Prairie’s Sweet Corn Festival.

The party wrapped up Sunday. Attendees could also enjoy carnival rides, play some cornhole and, of course, eat some corn.

“It’s my first time ever coming here, I love it – it’s delicious,” Xavier Puzon said. “It’s amazing to see this has been going on for quite some time now and I’m just happy to be here and enjoying every cob that I can get.”

The festival is always held on the third weekend of August. Next year will be its 70th anniversary.
