Suspect in Madison homicide pleads guilty
Fatal shooting happened last September
MADISON, Wis. — One of the suspects in a homicide last year on Madison’s east side entered a plea deal Wednesday.
Elizabeth N. Glasbrenner, 22, pleaded guilty to felony murder and being party to a crime of armed robbery in the death of 24-year-old Michael Keith.
Last September, Glasbrenner and three others planned to rob Keith and his friend for rent money and cigarettes, according to the criminal complaint.
The complaint said Anthony A. Williams and another man were to scare Keith, but shots were fired, striking the two victims outside an apartment in the 1700 block of Fordem Avenue.
Keith later died at a hospital.
Williams, the alleged gunman, is due to appear in court Thursday.
