Police: man was trying to take photos up a woman's skirt

MADISON, Wis. — A Stoughton man entered pleas of no contest to charges of sexual assault Monday in connection with an incident inside a Radio Shack where he worked this summer.

Police said Drew Potter, 25, took inappropriate cellphone photos of women while working at the store.

A criminal complaint alleges there were 68 images of victims on Potter’s phone.

Stoughton police were told about the 25-year-old by a woman who was shopping at the Stoughton Radio Shack earlier this month. The woman said Potter, an employee there, tried to take photos up her skirt.

Police said the investigation led them to find more photos, including images of other Radio Shack customers and at least three unconscious women being touched inappropriately.

Potter pled guilty to four charges, including three felonies. Two other charges were dismissed.  Potter is scheduled to be sentenced March 27.
