State track finals: Weah, Fountain take home state gold
Jester Weah wins 100 and 200 meter dashes

LA CROSSE, Wis. — Track and Field season started in March and on the first day of June, it’s championship Saturday.
Here are some highlights from local athletes.
Memorial Senior Jester Weah won the 100 and 200 meter dashes.
Memorial Senior Daurice Fountain won the 110 meter high hurdles.
Jen Wellnitz won the division three girls 100 meter dash.
The Cuba City girls won the 4 by 200 meter relay in 1.46.45
Fort Atkinson Senior Dani Ebben won her third straight 400 meter wheel chair race in a record time of 1.11.38.
Cuba City’s Greg Ganter won the division three shot put.
Madison Memorial took third as a boys team in division one. Mt Horeb took third place in division two. Pardeeville took fourth in division three. MG was the top girls team finishing 10th in division one. Dodgeville- Mineral Point took second in division two. Blackhawk finishes 12th in division three.
