Special election set for Dane County supervisor seat
District 16 supervisor resigned in March
MADISON, Wis. — A special election to replace Dane County supervisor Dave de Felice will be set for June 13, county board chair Sharon Corrigan said Friday.
The board will set the election during their meeting on Thursday, Corrigan said. Candidates can begin circulating nomination papers on Friday and are due on April 18.
If three or more candidates meet the deadline, a primary will be held on May 16, Corrigan said.
De Felice resigned as supervisor for District 16 in March. A phone call to de Felice asking why he resigned was not immediately returned.
The district covers parts of the east side of Madison, McFarland and the town of Blooming Grove.
