South Park Street reopened after shots fired investigation, police say
MADISON, Wis. — Madison police said the southbound lanes of South Park Street at Beld Street were temporarily closed Friday morning due to a shots fired investigation.
Police said there were reports of two cars shooting at each other near Meriter Hospital.
Witnesses told police they saw a white SUV and a brown sedan driving south on Park Street shooting at each other.
Officers found three shell casings on the 1400 block of South Park Street.
No injuries were reported.
