Soccer match halted by kangaroo
An Australian soccer match was interrupted for almost 20 minutes Sunday after a kangaroo made its way onto the field.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports the game between Canberra FC and Belconnen United was halted when the animal entered the field, hopping between players and eventually stopping to lay between goalposts.
Capital Football tweeted video of the incident.
Officials used an SUV to chase the ‘roo from the field.
