Six arrested in connection to multiple Janesville burglaries

JANESVILLE, Wis. — Six people were arrested Friday night in connection to multiple burglaries in Janesville on Wednesday and Thursday, Janesville police said.
Police said in a news release that an investigation into the burglaries led them to two adjacent apartments in downtown Janesville, where they found and recovered some of the stolen property. The first burglary occurred Wednesday at Northland Equipment in Janesville, and the other three occurred Thursday at the same residence on the city’s east side, police said.
Police arrested:
Jermell H. Sledge, 40, of Janesville; 4 counts of burglary
Mary A. Allan, 19, no permanent address; 2 counts of burglary
Alfonso Jarrett, 37; felony receiving stolen property
John M. Bailey, 53, of Janesville; party to a crime/receiving stolen property and a probation hold
Ladell T. Herron, 36, of Janesville; receiving stolen property and felony possession of THC
Bernadine L. Herron, 44, of Janesville; receiving stolen property and felony possession of THC
Police are still investigating the burglaries, the release said.
A Rock County Jail official said mugshots for Ladell and Bernadine Herron and John Bailey were not available Friday night.
