Silver Alert canceled, missing 78-year-old man found

A Silver Alert for a missing Dodge County man has been canceled after he was found safe.

Dodge Co. authorities were looking for a missing 78-year-old man who is believed to have dementia, according to a release.

A Silver Alert was issued Thursday for Delbert Pierson from Neosho, who was last seen around 5 p.m. Wednesday. When Pierson’s family checked on him, they discovered that he had left his home and didn’t return, according to a release. Police said he is originally from the Milwaukee area and likes to frequent shopping centers in the Hartford area. He also has family that lives in the area of 7th & Oklahoma in Milwaukee. 

However, a press release sent just before 7 a.m. Thursday indicated that Pierson has been found safe.
