Shots heard in west side neighborhood

Madison police responded to a west side neighborhood for a report of shots fired Thursday night.

Police were called the area of Sutton Road and Park Edge/Park Ridge at 11 p.m. when multiple people called 911 to report shots fired.

About 45 minutes later, a police supervisor in the area heard shots in an apartment complex area on Morraine View Drive.

Officers checked both areas where the shootings were reported and were unable to locate spent ammunition or anyone who was injured.
