Shots fired near busy street on West Side
Passing car on Raymond Rd. hit, no one injured

MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are questioning several people after shots were fired near a busy intersection on Madison’s southwest side Friday.
The incident happened near the corner of Raymond Road and Whitney Way about 3 p.m. Friday.
According to police, 7 or 8 teens were walking around Raymond Road when they started yelling at three other juveniles across the street. That’s when someone fired a gun.
No one was hurt, but a passing car and parked truck were hit. Police contacted and identified several young men at the scene, but no arrests have been made.
